An Open Letter to Ann Coulter

My mother always told me not to speak unless I had something nice to say. I have few kind words for Ann Coulter, especially after her offensive Tweet.

However, John Franklin Stephens is more tolerant than I am. He is Global Messenger, Special Olympics Virginia, and has written a beautiful letter

I realize this only vaguely relates to media and the presidential election, but Coulter is a media figure who should be held accountable. Yes, she has associated herself with the far right, and she has made her bias known, but using words such as “retard” to describe the President of the United States of America is unacceptable. Again, this loosely ties in with my post on reporters’ and networks’ Twitter ethics.
